NACHO ON THE MEND

FORMER Rangers striker Nacho Novo is out of intensive care and “looking better” after suffering a suspected heart attack on Saturday.

Novo (above), 38, was featuring for a Rangers legends side in the AOK Traditionsmasters 2018 event in Berlin, and was taken ill after they had been knocked out of the round-robin tournament.

He was rushed to hospital before undergoing emergency surgery.

Girlfriend Stephanie Heaney said: “Nacho is out of intensive care and stable. He’s looking better today and I’m so grateful for the support.”
