How I lost 4st with
DRYING out her huge control pants on her new boyfriend’s radiator after spilling a glass of wine on her lap, Sophie Jude was mortified by her “big Bridget Jones knickers”.
At nearly 13st and a size 16, the skincare specialist knew that something had to change. And now it has, as Sophie has shed four stone in a year.
Sophie, 23, says: “The night we had our second date, I ended up spilling wine on myself and had to change into his clothes while I dried mine. I had huge control pants that ended up on his radiator. It was a moment I will just never live down.” Sophie soon fell pregnant with merchandiser Carl Francis, 33, and had a daughter, Vogue, now 15 months old.
Sophie says: “I knew I needed to get fit and healthy to be able to run around after my little girl.”
Now Sophie has dropped to a size eight and been crowned Slimming World’s Miss Slinky 2018.
She is preparing to marry Carl, and says: “I will really look forward to wedding shopping. I don’t need the support of my big knickers anymore.”
