Pink funeral for stabbed mum Jodie
THE husband and fiveyear-old daughter of a shop worker murdered four days before Christmas led mourners at her pinkthemed funeral yesterday.
Jodie Willsher, 30, was stabbed in the Aldi store where she worked in Skipton, North Yorks.
Husband Malcolm was a pallbearer at Christ Church where they wed seven years before.
Their daughter Megan followed just behind, holding relatives’ hands.
Around 250 people wearing something pink, Mrs Willsher’s favourite colour, packed into the church and more than 150 listened outside.
In a eulogy, Mr Willsher said the death of his wife had left a “great hole in our lives” and added he was lucky to have married her.
