‘25 sign fake footie shirt‘

A CONMAN flogging fake memorabilia offered a Liverpool shirt signed by 25 players, a court heard.

David Rennie sold 4,500 items via FA Premier Signings raking in £1million.

Stephen Astell, of Liverpool FC, said he had never got more than 14 autographs on an item, despite dealing “with the players on a daily basis”.

Rennie, 46, of Banbury, Oxon, denies running a fraudulent business and banking the proceeds.

The trial at Bournemouth continues.
