Trump has a tantrum

AMERICA’S Toddler-in-Chief, tantrum throwing Donald Trump, never disappoints.

Whenever people think he can’t be any dimmer, he always comes up with the goods.

Now it’s silly excuses for pulling out of next month’s visit to Britain, and alleged racist comments about other countries.

Trump may not care about the truth but we should and must.

That George W Bush not Barack Obama decided to move the US Embassy from Grosvenor Square, or that the US never owned the site, doesn’t really matter to Trump.

What should matter to Britons is that Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson, himself a serial liar, is happy to attack Jeremy Corbyn and London Mayor Sadiq Khan to suck up to Trump and try to score cheap political points.

When thin-skinned Trump does decide to visit, he must not expect the red carpet treatment. Instead he’ll no doubt be greeted by many thousands of protesters who will represent Britain, rather than a ridiculed Foreign Secretary who is a national embarrassment.
