Dog sick after biting inhaler

A DOG had to be put in an oxygen tent after biting into an asthma inhaler.

The medication in the canister, which was under a bed at home, sent Pippa the beagle’s heart and breathing into overdrive.

Owner Kim Andrew, of Lincoln, said: “We heard a hiss and a bang... and she ran out licking her lips like she’d had a treat.”

But the distressed pet had to be taken to a vet’s where the oxygen tent reduced her heart rate and slowed her breathing.
