CHRISTIAN’S FAITH
IPSWICH v LEEDS UNITED Championship: Portman Road, 3pm
THOMAS CHRISTIANSEN insists his humbled stars still believe he is the boss to end Leeds’ 14-year exile from the top flight.
The Whites are still licking their wounds after being knocked out of the FA Cup by League Two minnows Newport.
But they have not lost faith in their head coach. Christiansen (right), who paid the price for putting out a weakened side last Sunday, said before their trip to Ipswich: “We have talked and the players believe in me.
“They also believe in themselves and what we are doing. We were in a bad moment at Newport, but we will recover.”
