Thornberry blasts Trump as ‘asteroid of awfulness’

DONALD Trump was called “an asteroid of awfulness” and “a racist” by Labour’s Emily Thornberry after the row over the President’s visit to Britain.

The Shadow Foreign Secretary also said PM Theresa May humiliated the Queen by extending the invite.

Reports suggested Mr Trump called off his trip to London because he had “not been shown enough love”. But Ms Thornberry ‘NO LOVE’ Donald Trump insisted: “I don’t want him to come to the country. He is an asteroid of awfulness that has fallen on this world. I think he is a danger and he is a racist.” Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn also downplayed Britain’s “special relationship” with the US, saying that there are “many important relationships”. But he told ITV: “He’s going to come at some point, I suppose. He is the President of the United States, after all.”
