SAD FOR POOR DANIEL

# I was heartbroken to read the story about Daniel Bradbury, who has Alzehimer’s aged 30 (Daily Mirror, January 12).

Even more tragic is that his twins have a 50% chance of inheriting it. It is truly a terrible illness.

My grandfather got dementia, then Alzheimer’s and died in a nursing home, but he was in his 80s. That was bad enough for us all to deal with.

I miss him every day, but for a father to get it aged just 30 is so unfair.

It’s going to be extremely difficult for his children. Bless his heart, my thoughts are with him and his family. Siobhan Kinkead, via Facebook
