HUGHTON IS READY TO STRIKE
CHRIS HUGHTON has been promised January funds for a top striker.
The promoted Seagulls lost 2-0 at West Brom, the sixth successive away game in which they have failed to score, and face a relegation dogfight after failing to sign a top-line striker in the summer. But boss Hughton, linked with Celtic’s Moussa Dembele (left), believes reinforcements will make a difference.
Hughton admitted: “We are very keen to do something and the fact that we want to do something comes down from the chairman. But I would prefer it if it didn’t go into the last week of the window because it can become a lottery then.”
