MP quits over Kingsmill row

A SINN Fein MP has resigned in shame after posing with a Kingsmill loaf on the anniversary of the Kingsmill massacre.

Barry McElduff, 51, expressed regret for the “deep and unnecessary hurt” his video post on Twitter caused last week.

The West Tyrone MP insisted it had nothing to do with the IRA shooting of 10 Protestants in Kingsmill, Co Armagh, in 1976.
