Drink-driving marine jailed after lad hurt

PRISON Puleston at court A DECORATED Royal Marine has been jailed for crashing while drinkdrivi­ng – with a two-yearold boy “loosely” strapped in the front passenger seat.

Scott Puleston, 28, was three times the limit when he sped along main roads before hitting another car and ploughing 80 yards out of control, a court heard.

He escaped injury, but the boy had bad scratches from thorny bushes.

The Lance- Corporal admitted drink- driving and dangerous driving in Plymouth after a row with his girlfriend.

He got 14 months’ jail at the city’s crown court.
