RYAN GIGGS
was one of my favourite players and a legend of the game, but he has done nothing to convince me he deserves a job of the stature of Wales manager straight away.
So the one thing Giggs (right) must do is go and see Sir Alex Ferguson, Bobby Gould and Chris Coleman – using his contacts to do some doublequick learning.
Those big breaks between international fixtures will at least give him the time to do that.
If I was in charge of the FAW, I would have given the job to Craig Bellamy, who strikes me more as Coleman’s heir apparent.
