Trump chief’s Russia probe

DONALD Trump’s ex-chief strategist Steve Bannon has been subpoenaed to testify on possible links between the US President’s regime and Russia.

It is the first time special counsel Robert Mueller has demanded one of Trump’s inner circle be called before a grand jury.

Mr Bannon was quoted in new book Fire and Fury as blasting Donald Trump Jnr’s 2016 meeting with Russians as “treasonous”.
