Brit’s plan to blast New York

A BRITISH terrorist married to “White Widow” Sally Jones plotted to bomb New York with two IS fanatics, court papers say.

Junaid Hussain taught them how to build bombs to attack the Statue of Liberty and Times Square in New York.

He provided detailed instructions to Munther Omar Saleh, 21, and Fareed Mumuni, 22. They face 56 years in jail after pleading guilty to conspiring to support IS and plotting a blast in 2017.

Hussain, from Birmingham, was their teacher, court filings in New York allege.

The Briton was killed, aged 21, by a drone strike in Syria in 2015. He was married to Jones, 45, at the time.
