Sales at online department store Very.co.uk – plugged by former Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan – jumped nearly 17% in the run-up to Christmas.
Very is owner Shop Direct’s biggest business.
But sales at sister website Littlewoods.com tumbled 12.6% in the seven weeks to December 22.
Shop Direct has been suffering a mini exodus of its top bosses.
Chief executive Alex Baldock leaves at the end of January, with no replacement lined up. Finance boss Derek Harding will fill the gap.
The firm’s chief information officer and head of digital transformation are also quitting.
