Jo Marney claimed Meghan Markle’s marriage to Prince Harry would “taint” the Royal Family. Ms Marney describes herself as a model and journalist, but her outburst does not equate to journalistic integrity.

# I read recently that Walmart in the US is giving its employees a modest wage rise and lump sum payment because of Donald Trump’s cut in corporation tax.

Since 2010 in the UK the corporation tax rate has dropped from 28% to 19%. Where has all this money gone? I don’t recall any firm passing it on to their employees, but we have seen the payments made to greedy fat cat directors of companies escalate. Will Darby, Mansfield
