Rocket tribute to tragic fitter
RONNIE O’SULLIVAN produced one of his best Masters displays – then paid a moving tribute to a young table-fitter who died this week.
The Rocket, going for an eighth title on his home Alexandra Palace London patch, was in scintillating form against Hong Kong’s Marco Fu, racing to a 6-0 whitewash win.
But he admitted he had been deeply shocked to hear of the tragic death of 25-year-old unsung hero Jethro Salmon.
O’Sullivan said: “We are all devastated – it is terrible. My heart goes out to his family and friends.”
