PIERRE’S GUNNING FOR MOVE

BORUSSIA DORTMUND star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has pleaded with the club to let him join Arsenal.

Aubameyang (above) is determined to move to London and has told Dortmund of his desire to go this month.

Arsenal have held talks with Dortmund over the £60millionrated striker, who is their No.1 target to replace Alexis Sanchez.

The Gunners do not want to pay anywhere near Dortmund’s asking price, but the Bundesliga club are keen on Olivier Giroud (inset), who they tried to sign last summer. Aubameyang, 28, has been dropped this season for disciplinary reasons, and has a close relationship with Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat. Dortmund have publicly said they do not want the striker to go, but negotiations have taken place at the top level.
