Parking rage victim hurt in bonnet ride
A WOMAN sped off from a McDonald’s with a driver on her car bonnet after a furious row over parking.
Deborah Ellson, 42, crossed two roundabouts as Jonathan Morgan clung on to her windscreen wipers, a court heard.
Mr Morgan, 33, was cut and bruised when he let go, fearing she would drive on to a dual carriageway.
He had returned from the diner in Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, to find she had parked so close he could not get in his BMW.
They gave each other “the finger” and she drove at him, Swansea crown court was told yesterday.
Ellson, from Cross Hands, claimed he leapt on the bonnet but was convicted of dangerous driving and given nine months’ suspended prison.
