SCRATCHCARD millionaire Melissa Ede has had Botox injections as she begins to spend her winnings.

The 57-year-old has also bought some jokey presents for her fiancee, including a pair of yellow rubber gloves and a Henry vacuum cleaner.

Transgender Melissa, who scooped £4million on her way to her shift as a taxi driver, said: “I got some Botox and fillers yesterday. I feel great.

“I got fillers in my cheeks and lips. I look a lot younger and more feminine.

“I’ve got the body I’ve always wanted but I’ve never been happy with my face. I can start changing that now.

“The new teeth are going to be coming and possibly a nose job and a mini facelift to take the saggy bits away.”

Her other half Rachel Nason, 37, said laughing: “Just a head transplant, really.” Melissa said: “I thought it was only fair... If I’m going to have some beauty treatments, I need to get her some gloves to protect her hands when she’s washing up.”

She added: “I’m just winding her up.”

Rachel said: “I was over the moon – another weird present to add to the 16 bog rolls that were not even Andrex [and] the Henry hoover that sits next to my other Henry hoover...

“I’m hoping for a new toilet brush or a snoring aid ’cos it’s like sleeping next to a wild boar.” Melissa, of Hull, East Yorks, was on her way to work on December 30 when she stopped for petrol and bought the National Lottery scratchcard. Lottery bosses yesterday released the recording of her nervous phone call shortly after removing the foil.

She says: “Hi there, I’ve just bought a £10 scratchcard and won four million pounds.”

The operator replies: “Amazing.” Melissa asks: “What do I do? I’m in shock. I’m shaking... it’s real, isn’t it?”

The operator says: “Yes, I can see it. Four million pounds. Wow.”

Melissa replies: “What the hell? Wow.” Asked if she can hold on while they go through personal details, Melissa says: “Yes, I’m fine. I don’t have to worry about the phone bill now, do I? I’m still shaking.”

When the operator asks when she bought the ticket, Melissa tells her: “About 45 minutes ago and I was like ‘What do I do?, What do I do?’.

“£1,000 and I would have been over the moon but £4million, it’s like ‘what?’.”

Melissa, who has four children and had gender reassignment surgery in 2011 after living as a man, also said she would have been pleased with £100 to enable her to have New Year’s Eve off for the first time in 25 years.

She told the Mirror yesterday: “When I listened to that tape it was ‘wow’.

“I still haven’t got my head round it all. It’s over two weeks and I still keep thinking ‘is this still real?’.

“Listening to that call proves I didn’t know what to do. I still don’t.”

I’ve never been happy with my face. I can start changing that now MELISSA EDE ON SPENDING HER SCRATCHCARD MONEY
