Vegan: Meat switch hitch

A VEGAN was sent a pork pie instead of egg-free mayonnaise in her online delivery from Sainsbury’s.

Molly Richards asked for a 340g jar of Vegenaise by Follow Your Heart but it was unavailable.

The store in Yate, Bristol, selected the gluten-free pork pie as the alternative closest to her first choice.

Molly said: “It was funny. It was probably a computer error but it made me giggle.” A Sainsbury’s spokesman said: “We hold our hands up, we got this wrong.”
