Inter plan to Sturr up attack
INTER MILAN want Daniel Sturridge – despite Liverpool’s demand for a £30million fee.
The Italian club have identified the striker (right) as a target in this transfer window as they have scored just 35 goals in 20 Serie A games this season.
Sturridge is open to a move to improve
his first-team chances after making just five starts for Jurgen Klopp this term.
But Liverpool are determined not to lose Sturridge – who has bagged 48 goals in 98 Premier League games for the Reds – on the cheap.
They are prepared to consider a temporary move for the rest of the season, but want a hefty loan fee.
Liverpool’s demands scared off Real Betis and their offer for Sturridge, 28, was unacceptable.
And Inter do not want to pay over the odds for Sturridge, who is recovering from a muscle injury he picked up over Christmas.
