How tickled I am by NHS

-

SIR Ken Dodd has paid tribute to the superb NHS staff caring for him as he battles a serious chest infection. The 90-year-old comic has been in hospital since falling ill last Friday. His spokesman Robert Holmes said: “He’s getting the best possible treatment and he’s full of praise for that.”

Scouser Sir Ken, left, is being treated at the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital in the Broadgreen suburb of the city.
