Kids’ terror as wolf escapes

FLIGHT Sanctuary the wolf escaped SCHOOLS were thrown into lockdown when a wolf roamed free for six hours.

Children were ordered not to leave their classrooms and police guarded the gates after 12-year-old Torak escaped from a sanctuary at Beenham in Berkshire.

Armed officers rushed to the scene and the police helicopter was also seen overhead. Handler Teresa Palmer, 62, found him eight miles away. She thinks he was released deliberate­ly, saying: “A lot don’t believe in having animals in captivity.” COLLARED Handler has Torak on lead
