UKIP leader: I didn’t sleep with ex after ditching her

Racist model goes with him to hotel

UNDER-FIRE UKIP leader Henry Bolton has insisted he did not spend the night with his race-slur model ex-girlfriend – and showed the Mirror taxi receipts he claims prove it.

Mr Bolton, 54, maintains he broke up with Jo Marney, 25, on Monday, after she was suspended from the party over racist texts about Meghan Markle.

But on Wednesday night, the pair were spotted enjoying an intimate dinner at a private members’ club in Westminster.

Onlookers spotted the couple “holding hands” during the meal at the National Liberal Club, before being photographed together on the same Tube train.

Approached outside the club, Mr Bolton said: “Jo’s had some death threats against her today and so she wanted to speak to me about that.

“She’s now going back to Maidstone and I’m now going back home.”

But they were later seen together on a train en-route to Bolton’s bolt-hole in Folkestone, Kent. A UKIP spokesman told the Mirror Ms Marney had accompanied Mr Bolton to the hotel where he has been living since leaving his wife.

But he insisted she had stayed for just 28 minutes to pick up her things, before taking a taxi to her family home in Maidstone, Kent – and showed the Mirror taxi receipts for the journeys and times.

Asked if they had sex during her visit, the UKIP spokesman said: “Come off it.”

UKIP’s ruling body will decide on Sunday whether to trigger a no-confidence vote in their leader, after Ms Marney said Ms Markle would “taint” the Royal Family with her “seed” and pave the way for a “black king” in texts.

Mr Bolton has defended her, saying he still loves her and she was “exploited by my political enemies”, and refusing to rule out getting back with her.

He is expected to attend the crunch meeting on Sunday to fight for his future.
