ASUS ZenFone 4

-

Taiwanese manufacturer ASUS is known for sleek laptops but it does a good side-range of Android smartphones. The ZenFone 4 looks more premium than its price tag suggests thanks to a clean, metallic design.

The 5.5-inch screen is bright and crisp but the real selling point is the dual-lens camera bolted onto the back. The ZenFone 4 has one large F1.8 aperture lens which lets in plenty of light alongside another 120-degree wide-angle lens for fitting in more scenery.

Although the processor might be a touch on the slow side compared to similarly priced rivals, the battery life is very impressive. There’s 64GB of native space which can be upgraded with a microSD card if necessary. If you’re not a power user but want good looks and a decent camera for less than £500, this is well worth considering.
