THE SOUND OF MUSIC

-

It all began with the story of the Trapp Family Singers and Baroness Maria von Trapp’s 1949 autobiography, which inspired the Broadway musical in 1959.

Now, the story delights audiences worldwide as the tale follows the singing family from their romantic beginnings to their thrilling escape, to freedom as their beloved Austria becomes part of the Third Reich at the start of the Second World War.

With songs such as My Favourite Things, Do-Re-Mi, Climb Ev’ry Mountain and So Long, Farewell, sing along to Lucy O’Bryne’s vocals as the runner-up on The Voice takes on the role of Maria.

Tour continues Birmingham New Alexandra Theatre, tonight
