-

TRAGIC Dolores O’Riordan CRANBERRIES singer Dolores O’Riordan will be laid to rest in her home town in Ireland next week.

The star was found dead in her hotel on Monday, aged 46.

Parish priest Father James Walton said her funeral mass on Tuesday in the Church of Saint Ailbe at Ballybricken, Co Limerick, will be followed by a private burial.

Canon Liam McNamara, a close friend of the O’Riordan family, will act as the chief celebrant. The funeral is at 11.30am and Limerick’s local radio station will broadcast the funeral mass live.

A public reposal is also planned on Sunday at Saint Joseph’s Church in Limerick from 12.30pm to 4pm.

At the opening of an inquest in London, it was heard that tests have been done to establish the cause of O’Riordan’s death – which police say is non-suspicious. The hearing was adjourned to April 3.

O’Riordan, whose hits included Linger and Zombie, was in London for a recording session.
