MAURICIO POCHETTINO has been given a free run at £35million Malcom after Arsenal ended their interest. Tottenham are keen on a deal which would see the Brazilian winger, 20, (left) signed this month, but loaned back to Bordeaux for the rest of the season. The deal would be similar

to the one struck with MK Dons for Dele Alli three years ago. Talks are understood to be at an early stage for Malcom, a one-time target for Manchester United.

But the Spurs boss insisted he is not simply looking for speedsters. “Our football is not counter-attack,” he said.

“I think Usain Bolt is free. But his dream is to play at Manchester United!”
