CHRISTIANSEN SEES RED OVER POOR RECORD
THOMAS CHRISTIANSEN has ordered his Leeds hot-heads to clean up their act.
The Elland Road boss is fuming over a crime sheet that lists five Leeds players – skipper Liam Cooper, Gaetano Berardi, Ronaldo Vieira, Samuel Saiz and Eunan O’Kane – already sent off this season.
Saiz is serving a six-match ban after being red-carded for spitting at Newport’s Robbie Willmott in United’s FA Cup defeat and O’Kane is also suspended following his dismissal for butting Ipswich defender Jonas Knudsen last Saturday.
The Dane (above), whose sinners host Millwall today, said: ”I will not accept this situation. The discipline always has to be the most important because without it, you cannot achieve anything.
“At the end of the season, if we find ourselves needing three or four points more than we’ve got to achieve our target because of disciplinary issues, we are going to be very annoyed.”
