MARKO CALLS CITY CLASH A GRUJ MATCH

- BY LINDSAY SUTTON

CARDIFF’S loan star Marko Grujic hopes his new team-mates can ‘do a Liverpool’ when they take on Manchester City in the FA Cup on Sunday. The Anfield midfielder (above), on loan with the Bluebirds for the rest of the season, said: “Liverpool showed that Manchester City can be beaten if you are prepared to go at them. We have to take encouragement from that.” Serb Grujic, 21, once with Red Star Belgrade before his £5.5 million move to Anfield, is highlyrated by boss Jurgen Klopp, and Cardiff must give him at least 14 starts as part of the loan deal. Wednesday chalked up their third consecutive clean sheet under new boss Jos Luhukay – and they could have won but for glaring misses by Jordan Rhodes and Adam Reach. But Owls keeper Joe Wildsmith had to keep out Ken Zohore and loan signing Yanic Wildschut. Wildsmith said: “The new boss has good ideas and has changed the formation. “We’re looking a lot better and the fans are excited. there’s a buzz about the place.”
