ORE: DIG IN AND SHOW METTLE

- BY JAMES NURSEY

WATFORD new boy Orestis Karnezis believes hard graft is the answer to the team’s problems.

The Greece keeper, on loan from Udinese, made several good saves against Leicester on his full Premier League debut.

But he was unable to prevent an eighth loss in 11 league games for boss Marco Silva (right), which marked the end of his reign.

“It’s not a good moment for us with so many defeats,” said Karnezis. “We have to put our heads down to work harder.

“But I think we have the quality to stay in the top half of the table – we had this quality at the beginning of the season.”
