Shock at tearful Stephanie’s exit
STEPHANIE Waring wept as she was eliminated last night in a controversial decision by judge Jayne Torville.
Torville cast her deciding vote to save singer Lemar, who stumbled in his performance, after the panel were split.
Hollyoaks star Stephanie, 39, who danced with Sylvain Longchambon, said: “I’ve had the most amazing time and I’m so proud of myself for what I’ve done.” Host Phillip Schofield seemed surprised as the decision clearly shocked the audience.
Judge Jason Gardiner saved Stephanie and Ashley Banjo said he had backed Lemar, 39, until the end of the dance when he stumbled. Christopher Dean opted to send her home, saying he was impressed with the singer’s skating.
