SELL EVANS OR ALBION RISK £20M

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

WEST BROM could lose Jonny Evans for just £3million in the summer if they do not cash in on him now. It is understood that is the figure Evans (below) has in an escape clause in his contract should the Baggies be relegated. They are currently second bottom. Albion want £23m for the Northern Ireland centre-back this month and Manchester City, Arsenal and Leicester have shown interest. But there have been no bids and West Brom may have to drop their asking price or risk missing out on £20m. Boss Alan Pardew would like a striker to boost the survival fight and selling Evans would generate the funds to buy.
