KEVIN DE BRUYNE claims it was easy to commit his future to Manchester City because they are one of the best clubs in the world.

His decision to agree a two-year contract extension to tie him to the Etihad until 2023 made up for any Blues’ disappointment at missing out on Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United.

De Bruyne, 26, (above) becomes City’s second highest-earner just behind striker Sergio Aguero on £250,000-a-week.

The Belgian playmaker said: “It was pretty easy. We are one of the best clubs in the world. The way this club is working is unbelievable.”
