To wed 007’s a Weisz move

The full interview appears in tomorrow’s issue of ES Magazine ACTRESS Rachel Weisz has revealed that she never planned to Bond for life, but married 007 star Daniel Craig at a “more mature moment”.

The Oscar winner, 47, who wed Craig, 49, in 2011, said: “I never thought I would get married. It was not an ambition of mine. It was the opposite.

“I couldn’t relate to romantic comedies – marriage seems to be the whole point of them. Then it just happened, happily.”

Talking to ES Magazine, she also commented on the Harvey Weinstein scandal and said women were only listened to when his “power was on the wane”.

She said: “It’s about economics. This is all about power and money.”

Weisz, whose friend, British actress Sophie Dix, has accused Weinstein of sexual assault, said: “Sophie Dix has been talking about this since the 1990s. No-one seemed to care.” Weinstein, 65, denies all claims of non-consensual sex. HAPPY With her 007 star husband Daniel
