CHARLOTTE FLAIR
The daughter of wrestling’s greatest villain, 16-time World Champ Ric Flair, Charlotte “The Queen” is credited with helping to bring a new, young female audience to WWE.
She was the first of the new arrivals to win the Divas Title and the first to win the Raw Women’s Championship.
She has also been one of the leading figures in the brand’s “women’s evolution”, after her bout against Sasha Banks – a cousin of rapper Snoop Dogg – at Hell in a Cell in 2016 was the first women’s match to headline a WWE pay-per-view. That paved the way for the first women’s Royal Rumble match. Charlotte, whose real name is Ashley Fliehr, 31, has also branched out into acting, starring in last year’s Psych: The Movie.
