BEAN OWNED ONCE

A couple of cars currently owned by actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson are going under the hammer at the Race Retro show on February 24/25. Both are very interesting. The first is a Mercedes-Benz 500E which is a V8-powered Merc that was built by Porsche in the early 90s and available only in left-hand drive.

The other is even rarer. It’s a Lancia Thema 8.32 – an ordinary Lancia saloon that has a Ferrari V8 under its bonnet. Both cars are for sale without a reserve. I’d love the Merc but unfortunately I haven’t a bean.
