ANYA SHRUBSOLE has created history by becoming the first woman to appear on the front cover of the Wisden Cricketers’ Almanack. Her 6-46 – including five wickets in 19 balls – led England to a thrilling World Cup success over India in the Lord’s final. “To be on the front of such an iconic and historic book shows the strength of the women’s game,” said Shrubsole. “It’s an amazing honour and privilege.”
