ENGLAND TO FACE SPAIN & CROATIA IN NATIONS LEAGUE
THE Nations League replaces international friendlies between European countries.
It also offers four places in the European Championship for nations who fail to get there via the usual qualifiers. These will be decided by a play-off system, involving the top teams in each group (with those who have already qualified passing on their play-off place to the next highest-ranked team). England fixtures: Sept 8, Spain (h); Oct 12, Croatia (a); Oct 15, Spain (a); Nov 18, Croatia (h).
