Fight to keep nurses
MORE nurses are leaving the NHS than are joining as ministers fail to do enough to keep them, MPs warn today.
Pay and workload were among reasons given by nurses. Over 29,000 left the National Medical Council register last year, up 9% on the year before, a Health Committee report found.
