Digital Tuesday, disc February 12 Warner Animation Group scored a brick-tacular £330million success with The Lego Movie and Lego Batman built on that with a solid £224m. But this big-screen version of the popular TV Ninjago series disappoint­ed at the box office with a flimsy £89m on a £50m budget.

When their city is threatened, the ninjas set off to find the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon to defeat the evil Lord Garmadon.

My seven-year-old’s bedroom floor is a hazardous testament to a love of all things Lego, and this brightly-coloured and fast-paced romp kept him thoroughly entertaine­d. And quiet, too.
