Noor way Nic is going to Toon yet
FEYENOORD have warned Newcastle will have to pay an “excessive amount” to land Nicolai Jorgensen.
The Denmark striker, 27, is set for a stand-off with his Dutch club after the Toon pledged to double his wages at St James’ Park.
But Feyenoord are not desperate to sell and want more than £20million.
Jorgensen is believed to be open to moving to Tyneside next week, but Newcastle will have to up their offer of around £13m.
The swoop could be part-funded by selling Aleksandar Mitrovic to relegation rivals Brighton.
