PINTO FALL OUT OF CITY’S PLAN

NORWICH will be without right-back Ivo Pinto at Brentford after the captain was ruled out by a freak car accident.

Coach Daniel Farke said: “It sounds funny and I suppose it is. But it’s not funny for Ivo or for us. He was just climbing out of his car when he made a wrong step and fell on his knee.

“We feared it was a really serious injury because the knee was so badly swollen. He is definitely out against Brentford but should be okay next week.”

Farke’s other right-backs, Russell Martin and Ben Godfrey, are out on loan.
