Amazon axes ‘racist’ advert

AMAZON has pulled a Chinese fancy dress advert which showed white kids doing “slant-eye” gestures.

Lily Ladlow, who complained to the firm, said: “It was clearly a racial insult.”

The £22 outfits were offered by traders Atosa and Fyasa. Amazon has yet to explain how they came to be on its site or apologise.
