Heroes save crush victim
A JUDGE has praised clubbers who saved a pedestrian by lifting a Vauxhall Corsa off him.
Morgan Williamson, 19, was twice the drink-drive limit and on cocaine when his car hit Jake Pollard, severely injuring him, in Burnley on June 4 last year.
Judge Beverley Lunt told Burnley crown court CCTV of clubbers rushing to help was “awe inspiring.”
Williamson, of Burnley, Lancs, was sent to a Young Offenders’ Institute for two years and eight months.
