The mustard gold of this £1,945 Erdem gown was a tribute to one of Sweden’s national colours. The statement print was a bold choice but bordered on fussy and frumpy. COSY In ski jackets She looked ghostly in this billowing floor-length blush pink custom McQueen gown. The cape swamped her frame and the dated hair style made her look frumpy. This £2,690 blue velvet Erdem dress did not photograph well. The length doesn’t really work, the neckline is very unflatteri­ng and don’t get me started on the curtain fabric. A highlight of the tour was this Catherine Walker houndstoot­h coat teamed with a £3,762 Chanel bag and £106 earrings by Swedish firm in@Design. Looking younger and fresher in a £169 Seraphine “Marlene” dress with a delicate lace bodice, high neck and pretty fluted sleeves, her hair in a chic chignon. Kate looks fantastic in this green Catherine Walker coat, accessoris­ed with a £895 Mulberry bag, black gloves, Troy London cuffs and furry hat.
