LUKE FREEMAN plans to lead from the front to help QPR climb to safety.

Rangers boss Ian Holloway has to rely on a host of young guns to keep the Londoners up after axing 12 players this month as part of a cost-cutting exercise at Loftus Road.

And Freeman, 25, one of the remaining senior stars, said: “It’s an important period for us and I aim to do all I can to get us up the table. When I cross that white line all I want to do is get on the ball and play. I’ve been playing for 10 years and I’ve now had around 250 career games.

“So I’ve been around and I aim to pass my experience on.”
