GARY ROWETT reckons Kasey Palmer can be the missing piece in Derby’s promotion jigsaw puzzle.

The Rams, second heading into today’s Brentford clash, signed the Chelsea midfielder on loan for the rest of the season. The England Under-21 international won promotion during a stint at Huddersfield last season and boss Rowett hopes he can repeat the feat.

“We added creativity and something a little bit unpredictable in Kasey Palmer,” he said. “He has a very good pedigree, and got promoted with Huddersfield.”
